My name is Aurore Hutmacher, aka Kiseki-Chan, and I’m a French-Swiss painter. I paint mainly on canvas using acrylic paint. Having been fascinated by Japan since childhood, I create colourful and somewhat surreal compositions inspired by Japanese landscapes, culture, folklore, yokai, festivals and arts, Shintoism, hikifuda and wagara motifs. Each painting is unique and comes with its own certificate of authenticity.
Amigurumi (あみぐるみ) is a crochet technique originating from Japan. This crocheting method allows the creation of three-dimensional objects. I have been practicing crochet for over ten years, and for several years now, I have been designing my own patterns. My sources of inspiration include my travels to Japan, nature, plant life, and the changing seasons.

We are two Japanese enthusiasts, Kristell Silva Tancun based in Geneva and Laura Wohlgehaben based in Lausanne. Our creativity is fuelled by our travels and our love of Japanese culture. Our preference is for risography, a Japanese printing technique with fluorescent colours and a unique look. We opened a risography workshop in Geneva over a year ago and are delighted to be able to offer you Swiss Made creations.
